MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. – Montcalm County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two vehicle crash that injured five people.
It happened at 8:48 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 at the intersection of South Greenville Road and Baker Road.
Deputies say a 2011 Honda Accord driven by Charles Kemp of Big Rapids was travelling west on Baker Road when Kemp failed to stop for the stop sign at Greenville Road.
Kemp hit a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Brett Headworth of Orleans.
Two female passengers in the Equinox were transported to the hospital with injuries. Headworth and another male in his vehicle sustained minor injuries but did not require treatment. Kemp also sustained minor injuries that did not require treatment.
Kemp was cited for disregarding a stop sign.
