GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two area pharmacists pled guilty Wednesday to the felony misbranding of drugs while employed at Kentwood Pharmacy.

James Orr, 75 of Grand Rapids, and Thomas Verhage, 68 of Kentwood, both entered guilty pleas in federal court, according to a press release from the Department of Justice.

Orr and Verhage admitted to being aware that the pharmacy restocked drugs that were returned from nursing homes and adult foster care homes.  The investigation into the extent of their scam is ongoing.
