BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – A teenage boy cut his leg open after trying to climb back onto a boat Saturday afternoon.
It happened just before 5 p.m. on Bethany Beach in Berrien County.
Sheriff’s Deputies say the boy was tubing and tried to climb onto the boat when he cut open his leg on a boat prop.
He was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injures and did not need surgery.
Deputies are still investigating the incident, but they do not believe alcohol was involved.
