HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich- Four people are in the hospital after a three car accident this afternoon in Holland Township. It happened around 12:40 p.m. at the intersection of Quincy St. and 112th Ave.
A Saturn Vue driven by Rosa Arizmendez was going northbound on 112th Ave. when she failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta heading westbound on Quincy St driven by Anastacia Mendoza-Penaloza.
After those vehicles collided, the Jetta then slid into a vehicle driven by Dennis Rouwhorst who was stopped at the intersection according to Ottawa County Sheriff Deputies.
The passengers in the Saturn Vue were pinned inside the vehicle and were extricated by fire personnel from the vehicle. Ms. Arizmendez and her passengers were taken to Holland Hospital and are in stable condition. Ms. Mendoza-Penaloza was also taken to Holland Hospital and is in stable condition.
Mr. Rouwhorst was uninjured in the crash.
Alcohol is not a factor in this crash, and the crash remains under investigation.
