MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — One woman was killed and another person was sent to sent to the hospital in a Montague Township crash involving a motorcycle and a truck, according to Muskegon County Sheriff Dean Roesler.
Police responded to the scene at the corner of Fruitvale Road and Lamos Road in Montague Township at around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The woman was riding on a Harley Davidson motorcycle with a man when he lost control at the intersection while the truck was turning.
CPR was performed on the woman before both she and the man were taken to Mercy Health’s Hackley Campus. She died shortly after arriving at the hospital. Both people on the motorcycle were wearing helmets, and the crash remains under investigation.
