KENT COUNTY, Mich. – The 53-year-old woman accused of robbing the Bank of America on South Division in Cutlerville on Tuesday has a lengthy criminal record, according to documents from Michigan State Police.

On Tuesday, June 19, police say Dee Anne Sanders (Clark) robbed the bank before fleeing north on South Division.

A three-page document reveals that crimes committed by Sanders-Clark date back to 1995. Most them are for larceny and counterfeiting, but there is also an assault and battery charge from 2003.

Up until the bank robbery it appears Sanders-Clark had been staying out of trouble for the past three years.

Surveillance images that were released the same day as the robbery helped deputies track down the suspect quickly. Jon Hess, Kent County undersheriff, said the woman’s family recognized her through the clear images and turned her in.

FOX 17 archives show that we have reported eight robberies across West Michigan since the beginning of the year.
