Surrey Township, Mich. — On June 15 Michigan State Police responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically at a high rate of speed. Troopers arrested Amanda Wolcott, 28, of Beaverton following a traffic stop in the area of Harding Ave. near M-115. During the course of the traffic stop, troopers observed suspected controlled substance in plain view, and conducted a search of the suspect’s vehicle. During the search, troopers found additional suspected controlled substances, including suspected heroin, marijuana and items used in the distribution of narcotics. Troopers also discovered that the suspect appeared to be under the influence of an unknown narcotic. Wolcott was arrested on multiple controlled substance charges and Operating While Intoxicated.
Wolcott was arraigned on June 17 at the 80th District Court in Harrison, MI.
