GRAND RAPIDS,Mich. — Three times this summer, John Ball Zoo will not only stay open two hours later, but they will also offer two-for-one admission. Two For Tuesdays, is a once a month event that takes place Tuesday, June 18, then later Tuesday, July 16, and Tuesday, August 20.
“We hope that being open a few evenings this summer, coupled with the 2-for-1 price, will make visiting the Zoo more convenient for many working families.” said Andy McIntyre, Zoo Director. “If guests can take advantage of the Two For Tuesdays, they’ll be able to visit at half the cost.”
All the regular Zoo experiences will be open during TWO-FOR-TUESDAYS including Stingray Lagoon (touchable stingrays – $1.00), the budgie aviary (feedable parakeets – free to walk thru – $1.00 to feed), walk thru wallabies (free), camel rides ($5.00), ropes course ($6.00) and the zipline ($6.00).
No coupon is needed to receive the two-for-one admission provided tickets are purchased AFTER 5:30pm. For every full priced admission purchased, on admission of equal or lesser value can be added for free! General Zoo admission is $8.50 for adults, $6.50 for kids 3-13 and kids 2 and under always free. The Zoo is normally open daily from 9:00am to 6:00pm. John Ball Zoo is located at 1300 W. Fulton.
