SOUTH HAVEN, Mich.-Thousands were in attendance to see 90 different films playing at the 15th Annual Waterfront Film festival.  Festival organizers say ticket sales were better than ever this year.

The event, formally in Saugatuck, was hosted for the first time ever in South Haven.  Festival co-founder, Hopwood Depree, says the new venue helped the festival financially. “It significantly cut our technical costs, we were significantly able to cut our costs on the overall event which is just key for a nonprofit organization in this day and age.”

Actor Blayne Weaver stars in the movie ‘Favor’ and says the festival has gained national notoriety for the great audiences who enjoy watching quality films.

The festival was a hit and bigger than ever this year in South Haven, but next year’s location is still unknown.
