MUSKEGON, Mich. – Police are still searching for the person responsible for the shooting of a 20-something male in Muskegon early Sunday morning.
Muskegon Officers were dispatched to 149 Ottawa Street, Elk’s Lodge a little before 2 a.m. after a fight broke out.
The 20-year-old victim had been shot, but police say he was alert and able to communicate when they arrived at the scene. He is currently being treated in a local emergency room for abdominal injuries.
Muskegon Police continue to investigate the shooting.
No word on the suspect’s whereabouts.
