GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Ken VanderWal will be biking from Norton Shores to the Detroit area, all in an effort to raise money and bring awareness to Malaria in East Africa.
FOX 17 talked to Ken VanderWal, who is making the trip to Uganda in September of this year, about the bike ride and their efforts to help prevent this illness.
VanderWal is trying to reach a goal of $10,000 to help buy mosquito nets costing just $10 each.
