Gas Station Fight Leads To A Man Being Shot

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich- One man is recovering today after being shot early this morning on the northwest side of Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids Police tell FOX 17 that a man in his 20’s was shot walking on Turner Avenue NW, close to the Speedway Gas Station on Leonard Street NW.

The victim was shot in the hand and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The shooting allegedly started with a fight at the gas station.  According to GRPD, the victim and another person walked out of the store when a red or maroon GMC Jimmy drove by and opened fire.  The suspect fired two to four shots from inside the SUV

Police are still investigating, and no arrests have been made.
