CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich – Deputies with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office continue to investigate a two vehicle crash that killed a woman from Battle Creek this morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of 13 Mile Road and Michigan Avenue in Marshall Township at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Investigators say 72-year-old Dottie Yvonne Beckelheimer of Battle Creek had been traveling northbound when she failed to yield for a vehicle heading eastbound.
Beckelheimer was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle involved, a 49-year-old Ceresco man, suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
