Equipment managers spend hours every day to make sure the players are outfitted with equipment and jerseys. Brad “Dogg” Thompson has spent 13 years with the Grand Rapids Griffins doing this. On game day they get to work at around 7 a.m. and stay through the games, often working more than 12 hours.
