GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids city commissioners passed a resolution to approve the Uptown Improvement District, its marketing and development plan, and the district’s financing plan.
The district was established May 14, according to Kara Wood. She is the city’s economic development director.
A final vote will be tallied at commission’s committee of the whole meeting at 7 p.m.
It takes place at Eastern Avenue Christian Reformed Church. The address is 514 Eastern SE in Grand Rapids.
