GREENVILLE, Mich. — A four-vehicle crash shut down a segment of M-57 near Greenville Tuesday evening. One person was seriously injured.
According to police, a car was waiting to turn left into a driveway on eastbound M-57 near Podunk Avenue when a white truck hit it from behind.
A third vehicle then rear-ended that truck, forcing it across the center line where it crashed into another vehicle in the westbound lane.
The driver of that westbound vehicle sustained critical injuries and was transported to Spectrum Butterworth. Other people were injured, but the extent of those injuries was not revealed.
The segment of M-57 between Podunk Avenue and Old 14 Mile Road was closed until approximately 8:20 p.m. Tuesday evening.
