GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Mel Trotter Ministries 17th Annual Golf Marathon of Hope is starting this weekend in hopes to raise money for their women and children programs.
Celebrities will be joining the fun and help team up with PGA professional Jim Bultema in golfing for over 36 hours on about 360 holes.
The event is held at Railside Golf Club, 2500 76th Street SW, Byron Center on June 9 and 10 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Media groups like WZZM CH 3, MLIVE, and even FOX 17 will be playing the course.
All proceeds will go to housing and meals for women and children staying at Mel Trotter’s Emergency Shelter and Substance Abuse Recovery Program.
The community is invited to golf on June 10 with the shotgun starting at 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Registration is required here and donations excepted here.
