GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The mother of a baby who ingested crack cocaine while in her care is back behind bars.
Stacy Gatlin, 21, arrived back in Kent County Jail on Tuesday, according to the jail’s website.
A bench warrant for Gatlin was issued on Monday after she missed a status conference on charges in the case.
Gatlin has been charged with first-degree child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The child – 18-month-old Royal – is now in the care of his father. In an interview with FOX 17 in March, Devon Holloway said Royal has shown no ill effects from ingesting the drug.
