GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Guiding Light Mission recently finished renovations to its facility, and plans to reveal the completed work with an open house.
The event starts at 10 a.m. on Wednesday and includes a remodel tour. In addition, the non-profit’s Executive Director will speak at noon and focus on the future of Guiding Light’s mission as well as an overview of the last year’s accomplishments. Some of those include helping 161 men find full-time jobs and sustainable housing, serving 72,415 free meals, and providing 27,908 safe overnight stays.
Guiding Light Mission provides resources to men who are dealing with homelessness, addiction, and unemployment. In addition, the organization also provides food and shelter to anyone in need.
