BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Police are receiving complaints that a man is approaching little girls while they are out walking.
The Battle Creek Police Department describes the subject as an older white male with white or gray hair possibly wearing glasses. He is driving a white van.
Witnesses told police that the man approached the girls in his van and then slowly followed them.
This happened in the area of Wentworth Avenue and Capital Avenue and at Prairieview Elementary School in Battle Creek, and on D Avenue in Springfield.
At least two incidents occurred when the young girls were on their way to school.
