GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A few isolated thunderstorms are possible once again Wednesday as warm and humid air continues to flow into West Michigan.

After an active night of severe weather around the state Tuesday, widely scattered thundershowers were still hanging on early Wednesday morning.  Conditions will likely dry out for much of the day, with some partial sunshine returning in spots Wednesday afternoon.

However, a few pop-up thunderstorms may redevelop in the afternoon and evening Wednesday.  These storms would not be likely to contain a threat of severe weather.

Storms will become more widespread again as the next weather system approaches the region.  Scattered storms are likely Thursday, with stronger storms possible Friday and heavy rain continuing into Saturday.

If heavy rain develops over the same areas repeatedly, we will have to again watch for some issues with flooding around West Michigan.
