Battle Creek Police Still Looking For Armed Robbery Suspect

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Battle Creek Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Liberty Party Store.

The suspect walked into the store, in the 1900 block of West Columbia Avenue, on Monday, brandished a weapon, then demanded money from the clerk. He then left on foot heading north on 29th Street.

The suspect in the robbery is described as a light skinned black male wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black denim jeans, and black leather shoes. The suspect was carrying a nylon Nike gym bag.

The gun is described as a revolver. The suspect covered his face during the robbery.

The Battle Creek Police K9 unit was called to the scene and attempted to track the suspect.
