Crash scene I-96
IONIA CO, Mich. — A single vehicle rollover crash sent a woman to the hospital and closed westbound I-96 at mile marker 62 early Friday morning.
Ionia County Central Dispatch tells FOX 17 that the vehicle rolled over in the median at approximately 12:28 a.m.
When deputies arrived, they found an SUV on its roof and the 39-year-old female driver partially pinned underneath the vehicle. She was flown to the hospital via AeroMed. Her condition has not been made available at this time.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in this crash.
Both lanes were reopened before 2:30 a.m.
