Fugitive Arrested During Meth Lab Bust

BANGOR TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit was tipped off about two fugitives with warrants for their arrest who were also possibly manufacturing methamphetamine at home located in the 38000 block of 62nd Street in Bangor Township.

When deputies searched the home they found two one pot meth labs, HCL gas generators, finished product methamphetamine and additional items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

A 26-year-old female was taken into custody without incident and is facing charges of operating and maintaining a meth lab along with possession of methamphetamine.

Deputies are also looking into similar charges for a 26-year-old male who was not present at the time.

The two were wanted for failing to appear on charges of operating and maintaining a meth lab out of Allegan County.
