MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. – Troopers from the Michigan State Police Lakeview Post responded to Muskellunge Lake in Maple Valley Township around 11:41 p.m. Wednesday to look for a missing fisherman.
52-year-old Michael Lee White of Pierson was located in the water near his boat at the North East end of the lake.
A preliminary report indicates it was an accidental drowning, but the accident is currently under investigation by the Michigan State Police Lakeview Post.
