CASTLETON TOWNSHIP,Mich. — According to the Barry County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch Deputies have been dispatched to a possible stabbing/shooting in Castleton Township at Center and Wellman.
Deputies were dispatched to 6029 center rd on report of a stabbing and shots fired. Upon arrival deputies found a female subject suffering from a single puncture wound to the upper leg and some other minor wounds. She was transported to pennock hospital for treatment.
At this point in the investigation there is nothingto indicate that there is any threat to the public.
The Incident remains under investigation.
