MECOSTA COUNTY,Mich. — Troopers responded to a single vehicle traffic crash Tuesday afternoon on Five Mile Road at 100th Avenue in Mecosta County. Michigan State Police tell FOX 17 that the vehicle struck a natural gas transfer station. Crews from DTE Gas were able to close the valves and contain the gas. At this time the incident remains under investigation. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
