2 Seriously Hurt In Kalamazoo Stabbing

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Two people received serious injuries during a north-side stabbing Tuesday night.

At 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to a report of a stabbing with injuries on the city’s north side. Two people were transported to the hospital with serious injuries — one of them a man who was in critical condition.

Public Safety detectives were on the scene investigating late into Tuesday night. They told FOX 17 NEWS that they had no suspect information and that nobody was in custody for the crime.

No further details were available from police.

A witness told FOX 17 NEWS that the stabbings occurred in the 900 block of Nola between Woodward and Staples.

The stabbings remain under investigation by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
