PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich — Assumption School and Belmont Elementary School have called off a “Shelter in Place” lock down situation caused by an individual who police say was suicidal in the surrounding area. Police tell FOX 17 that they got a report of a man who was suicidal and possibly making threats. Both schools are in the area of where the incident was taking place. Police did remove the man and no further issues are reported.
Both schools are now back to running as usual.
