LOWELL TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Kent County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly moped accident early Friday morning.
It happened at around 6:30 a.m. in the 11000 block of 36th Street in Lowell Township. Dispatchers say the call came in as a moped accident in which the rider was laying face down in the ditch. The individual would later be pronounced dead.
It is unclear what led up to the incident. It remains under investigation.
