GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- Family and friends gathered to remember all officers killed in the line of duty early Thursday morning.
More than 30 fallen officers from Grand Rapids and West Michigan were remembered along with others who may have had ties to the area.
The memorial is part of Peace Officers Memorial Day which has been celebrated since 1962.
