GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A warm front moving into the Great Lakes pushed a few light rain showers through West Michigan Tuesday morning, but the biggest impact will be milder temperatures and a return to sunshine for most of the day.
Scattered sprinkles will still be possible through late morning, but clouds should clear out nicely for the afternoon with temperatures climbing back into the 70s in most locations.
A weak cold front will approach the area Tuesday night and may generate some scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of those may linger into early Wednesday morning, but the cold front will move out and allow sun to return once again Wednesday afternoon.
The forecast then looks good through the rest of the workweek before some rain returns over the weekend.
