GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Griffins will host the Toronto Marlies in Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinal series Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Van Andel Arena.
If the Griffins are to advance, you can bet they’ll need some strong play from forward Landon Ferraro. Ferraro led the team in goals (24) this season and is tied for third on the team in postseason points (5).
Playing a big role for Grand Rapids is something Ferraro enjoys as he continues to force people to recognize him for his game and not for the name on the back of his sweater. Landon is the son of former NHL star Ray Ferraro, who scored 408 goals and 898 points in 18 NHL seasons.
However, Landon’s biggest challenge in his hockey career isn’t stepping out of his father’s shadow. For more, check out the video.
