KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The 34th annual “Borgess Run for the Health of It” Kalamazoo marathon gets started on Sunday, but the course this year is going to affect some drivers.
The marathon begins at 8 a.m. and the following roads are scheduled to close:
- Gull Road between Nazareth and Riverview- closed from 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
- Riverview Drive from Gull Road to East Michigan
- Michigan from N. Rose to Riverview
- Parkway from Oakland Drive to Drake Road
The race expects to see around 7 thousand runners combined in both the marathon and 5-k.
