NORTON SHORES, Mich. – The search for Jessica Heeringa has entered its seventh day.  The young mother was abducted on the night of April 26, 2013.

Thursday, police received tips of gunshots heard in PJ Hoffmaster State Park along with the sighting of a silver van on Saturday morning.  That sparked a search with Michigan State Police K-9 units along with the helicopter.  The search yielded no sign of Jessica.

FOX 17 was at the park when a pair of glasses were found, thought to possibly be Jessica’s.  Since then, family has looked at those glasses and said they are not hers.

There are still several people police are interested in talking to.  One in particular was questioned Wednesday night and brought back in for more questioning Thursday.  That man has still not been cleared.

If you have any information on the disappearance of Jessica Heeringa call the Silent Observer tip line at 231-72-CRIME.
