GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A fire at a downtown apartment building has sent one person to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Dispatchers say it happened at 50 Weston SW in Grand Rapids. The fire started on the fourth floor, but the sprinkler system took care of the flames.
When firefighters entered the building, they found a man who required immediate medical attention. They performed CPR at the scene and gave the victim some oxygen. He was rushed to the hospital in unknown condition.
All other residents were allowed back into the building before 5:00 a.m.
