GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — West Michigan kids will soon get to learn more about construction and the work that goes into it when the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum adds its newest exhibit, Kidstruction Zone.
Children will learn about math and science concepts as well as problem solving skills, and they will get the chance to exercise their muscles as they move wheelbarrows of gravel up and down ramps, use pouring chutes, and use a conveyor belt .
The exhibit opens on May 22. It will be an ongoing exhibit through May 2014 and then it will become part of the museum’s permanent collection.
