BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Police are investigating a bank robbery in Battle Creek on Monday afternoon.
At 3:15 p.m. Monday, the Battle Creek Police Department responded to a robbery at Southern Michigan Bank & Trust in Battle Creek. A black man described as being in his 20s entered the bank, presented a note demanding money to a teller, received cash and then left the bank eastbound on foot.
The robbery remains under investigation. Anyone with any information should contact Battle Creek police or Silent Observer.
