Man Rescued From The Grand River

COMSTOCK PARK, Mich- One man is safe today after being rescued from the Grand River in Comstock Park around 1:30pm Saturday afternoon. The man was on a raft, on the river when the current pick up.

Plainfield Township and Grand Rapids Fire Departments responded with their water rescue teams. After scanning the area with jet-skis and boats they found the man clinging to a tree along the river near Fifth Third Ballpark. They were able to get the man into a boat and out of the water quickly.

The man was not injured.
