Kalamazoo College Breaks Ground on Arcus Center

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Kalamazoo College is breaking ground on the Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Due to the weather, the ceremony was moved indoors to the lobby of Trowbridge Hall, immediately to the east of the Arcus Center building site at the corner of Academy Street and Monroe Street.

The groundbreaking will include a blessing by the Tribal Council of the Matchebenasshewish Band of the Pottawatomi Tribe along with comments by the Kalamazoo College president, Eileen B. Wilson-Oyelaran.

It is open to the public.
