GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital has received national recognition as one of the best hospitals in the country.
Spectrum was one of six Michigan hospitals to make the “100 Great Hospitals in America” list by Becker’s Hospital Review. Others include Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Bronson Methodist in Kalamazoo and Henry Ford in Detroit.
According to Becker’s, the hospitals on the list proved to be innovators in medical treatments, research, technology and care delivery.
The Becker’s Hospital Review compiled the list based on nominations as well as other hospital ranking sources, such as U.S. News & World Report.
