GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — A healing center for grieving children and their families is now enrolling for its new Grand Rapids location.
Ele’s Place already has facilities in Ann Arbor and Lansing, and the Grand Rapids branch will open later this month. It’s at the Third Reformed Church, located at 2000 Michigan Street. They’re now enrolling anyone ages 3 to 18 for weekly peer support groups. All programs are at no cost to the families.
Ele’s Place is also looking for volunteers.
Tours also begin later this month, that will show you what Ele’s Place is, who can go, how it changes a child’s life and more. You can visit the new location on April 29 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., May 8 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. or May 23 from noon to 1 p.m.
