BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Battle Creek Police officer Jennifer Appl was arraigned for drunk driving and being in possession of her service firearm while intoxicated Tuesday Afternoon.
Michigan State Police were called after fellow officers reported smelling alcohol on Appl’s breath when she showed up for her shift Saturday night. Appl was also involved in an alcohol-related incident where she was a passenger in a drunk driving crash last July that involved another Battle Creek officer.
