GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- The popular restaurant has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
This comes just three years after a massive fire destroyed the previous location. The family rebuilt in a smaller location and many credit the restaurant for helping to revitalize the Northwest side.
Diners found out about the closing after signs were posted on the restaurant’s doors.
Court records show the family is about $320,000 dollars behind on federal taxes.
The current owners bought the restaurant after the original owner closed because of financial problems.
