(WEST MICHIGAN) — Lake effect snow showers will continue this morning for the Lakeshore and the Grand Rapids metro area this morning.
A light thin coat of snow was already covering roadways and may make for a slick morning commute.
Lake effect snow showers should start to taper off towards the end of the morning hours for Grand Rapids, however a few areas of light snow showers will still be possible along the Lakeshore through late afternoon.
Keep in mind, with temperatures this morning in the teens and a thin coat of snow, roads maybe unexpectedly slippery, so give yourself extra time and use winter driving caution.
