Landlord Charged With Murder For Shooting Jody Snyder Bond Set At $765,000

Allegan, Mich. — Marion Jeff Conley was arraigned after the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department arrested Conley on an arrest warrant.  Conley is being charged with open murder, felony firearms possession, resisting and obstruction.    After his arraignment this afternoon, he is being held on a $765,000 bond.  His next hearing is scheduled for March 28th, at 1 p.m.  A Preliminary hearing is set for the morning of April 9th.

He is the prime suspect in the homicide of Jody Ray Snyder in Allegan County.  Conley was the victim’s landlord.

Jody Snyder’s body was found in his rented home on March 9th.  He had been shot multiple times.  The 37-year-old had been living there for about three years with his teenage son.
