KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Four people have been arrested, and two others stand to face charges, in two separate drug busts that happened in Kalamazoo on Tuesday.
In one of the busts, KVET officers from the Community Outreach and Problem Solving Division (C.O.P.S.) searched a residence in the 1400 block of East Main Street. They located 20 baggies of heroin inside, as well as marijuana. A 22-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man both stand to face charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver. No arrests have been made yet.
Another bust happened in the 800 block of Hawley Street. Police located heroin, crack cocaine, and marijuana. During the raid, four suspects were arrested: a 54-year-old man is being charged with Maintaining a Drug House, a 32-year-old man was arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin & Maintaining a Drug House, a 24-year-old man was arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine and Heroin & Maintaining a Drug House, and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for maintaining a Drug House and Possession of Marijuana.
