The Student says she took shelter in a classroom as soon as she received an emergency alert, stating a man with a “long gun” was seen on campus and everyone was ordered to seek shelter around 1pm this afternoon.  The alert went out on the university’s Emergency Management Twitter account.

The student also said armed police officers entered the classroom and escorted the students out of the building.

Currently, authorities are searching for a white male, possibly armed, wearing a trench coat.
