Griffins Beat Wolves 3-2 in Overtime

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Griffins remained red hot, winning their fifth straight game.

Grand Rapids defeated the Chicago Wolves 3-2 in overtime at Van Andel Arena. Tomas Tatar scored in his first game back with the Griffins to even the game up at 1-1 in the second period. Landon Ferraro scored the fastest overtime goal in franchise history just 18 seconds into the extra session, tipping Brett Skinner’s shot past Matt Climie for his second goal of the game.

Grand Rapids is now 6-0 versus the Chicago Wolves this season.
