17-Year-Old Student Charged With Threats Of Terrorism

COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. –The Kent County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for 17-Year-Old Benjamin Malachino for one count of Threats of Terrorism, which is a 20 year felony. According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department Malachino, a student at Comstock Park High School, sent threats to a female student that he was going to sexually assault her and also intended to lock down the high school and kill several students. Malachino included in his text message the names of three students (two from Comstock Park High School and one from Kenowa Hills High School) that he intended to kill.

Malachino was arraigned Monday in the 63rd District Court and is currently lodged at the Kent County Correctional Facility on a $500,000 bond.
